Instructions
We invite submissions of research abstracts for consideration for presentation at the conference. Abstracts must be no longer than one page, including references, and should be prepared using the official LaTeX template. Submissions should be written so that they are accessible to a general category theory audience, providing sufficient motivation and context so that readers can clearly understand the problem or topic being addressed and how the work fits into the broader landscape of the field. It should also be evident from the abstract what aspect of the research is novel, significant, or potentially impactful.
Selection will be based on the submitted abstract and references, and the committee will prioritize well-communicated submissions that offer clear motivation and context while articulating the importance of the results. Please submit your completed abstract, prepared using the LaTeX template, through the conference submission portal. We look forward to receiving your work.
Abstracts are due on January 20, 2026 by 11:59PM EST.
Technical Considerations
Submit the LaTeX source for your abstract, using a filename in the pattern YourFullName_ct2026.tex.
LaTeX source for accepted abstracts will be compiled to PDF (using PDFLaTeX) for inclusion in the program booklet, and will also be converted to an accessible, mobile-friendly web version (using LaTeXML).
